Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

1. Do you support private label production for brands?

Yes. C R International is a leading private label apparel manufacturer, offering comprehensive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) and ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) services in line with our clients’ specific requirements.

We provide end-to-end support for the development and application of customised branding elements, including tags, labels, and trims such as zippers, buttons, safety locks, stickers, and other embellishments, as per approved designs and specifications. Please note that certain trims and accessories are subject to higher minimum order quantities, typically in the thousands. These items can be securely stored at our facility and utilised for future production orders.

We offer a comprehensive range of apparel development and manufacturing services, supported by in-house expertise and trusted partners:

  • Pattern Making and Grading
Precise pattern development and grading to ensure optimal fit, consistency, and production accuracy.

  • Printing Services
A wide range of printing techniques, including water-based and rubber-based screen printing, digital printing, sublimation, embossing, direct-to-garment (DTG), tie-dye, foil printing (gold and silver), and glitter printing—selected based on design, fabric, and performance requirements.

High-quality embroidery using premium threads such as Madeira or equivalent, enhancing detail, durability, and refined finishing where required.
  • Special Fabric and Garment Finishes
Customised finishes applied to fabrics or completed garments to achieve specific textures, effects, or performance characteristics.
  • Custom Trims and Accessories

To initiate the sampling or development process, we require the following information:

  • A completetech pack, or alternatively, a physical garment sample that may be couriered to our mailing address for reference.
  • Detailed specifications includingfabric constructionGSMknit or weave structure of the base fabric, along with logo and artwork files (if applicable).
  • Estimated order quantities, broken down bysize and colour.

Upon receipt of the above information, we can proceed with sampling or further development as required.

  • We are best suited to long-term production partnerships where clients are able to shareforecasted monthly requirements. This allows us to plan raw material procurement efficiently, manage production timelines proactively, and mitigate contingencies—ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery of finished goods.
  • As a bespoke apparel manufacturer, each project we undertake is unique; therefore, our minimum order quantities are not fixed.

Once we receive your design concept, technical specifications, and measurement charts, we are able to assess the requirements and determine an appropriate MOQ based on factors such as design complexity, base fabric, and trim or accessory needs. For optimal cost efficiency, pricing is most competitive for orders of 100 pieces or above per style and colour.

  • Sample development timelines vary depending on the design complexity and materials required. Typically, sampling is completed within 4 to 6 weeks from the date we receive all required information along with the sampling payment.

What are the charges associated with sample development?

Sampling costs vary based on design complexity, garment construction, fabric, trims, and the level of workmanship involved. Upon receipt of complete design details and technical specifications, we assess the requirements and provide an accurate sampling cost.

Typically, sampling charges are calculated at approximately three times the estimated production cost. Additional charges may apply in cases requiring custom development of prints, embroidery, or specialised surface techniques; these costs are confirmed after reviewing the tech pack.

In certain cases, where the confirmed order quantity is 1,000 pieces or more, sampling charges may be adjusted or credited against the bulk production order, subject to order confirmation and mutually agreed terms.

1. What is a tech pack, and can you provide an example?

A tech pack, also referred to as a specification chart, is a comprehensive document that serves as a blueprint for your garment design. It compiles all essential information required to accurately understand, develop, and manufacture your product, including construction details, measurements, materials, trims, and finishing instructions.

To provide clarity, we have uploaded a sample spec chart for your reference, which illustrates the level of detail typically required for efficient sampling and production.

Advances in communication technology allow us to work seamlessly with clients across the globe. We remain in constant contact through email, phone calls, and instant messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Line and imessages.

For more detailed discussions, we are happy to arrange video conferences via platforms such as Gmeet, allowing us to review ideas, clarify requirements, and discuss development in real time. Prototypes and samples can be securely dispatched via international courier services and typically reach clients within 3–5 working days, depending on the destination.

Yes. At C R International, we strictly adhere to a robust non-disclosure policy to ensure complete confidentiality of our clients’ designs. Your concepts, samples, and technical information are never shared, disclosed, or used as references outside our internal production ecosystem.

In certain cases, select designs may be retained in our factory sample room strictly for internal reference purposes and only after a considerable period, once the design is no longer commercially sensitive. We do not reproduce or manufacture the same designs for any other client.

Additionally, we are fully open to signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to provide further assurance. Protecting our clients’ intellectual property and creative privacy is a responsibility we take very seriously.

  • To ensure accuracy and clarity during development, we require design files in formats that do not pixelate when scaled. Vector-based files are therefore preferred.

We recommend .AI (Adobe Illustrator) format; however, we are also able to work with .PDF, .EPS, .TIFF, and high-resolution .JPEG files where applicable.
